180 cans to achieve the impossible
90 identical copies of “È cacca” and another 90 of “È gesso”, minted as NFTs, to try to find out what the fuck is in the famous Manzoni cans.
The process:
Release them for sale starting with a low price for the first piece, 0.13eth, and gradually increase it by 0.01eth until 85 of each version are sold. Four copies are kept to stimulate the market if at some point there is no offer because the holders do not sell, and one copy is kept for the goal.
The first owner of a physical can of Piero Manzoni’s “Artist’s Shit” to open it publicly and show its content before July 13, 2025, will recieve one copy of each version.
If the price of the NFTs go up enough (remember that the last can auctioned was sold for 275,000 €), maybe someone will be encouraged… so the goal is for the price to increase over time.
If the magic happens, the holders will have a very valuable NFT and, perhaps, a short paragraph in the History of Art titled “The 180 cans that opened the can”.
Other reasons to participate in the project:
Both NFT’s belongs to the Art & Hash series. It means that, in addition to the value that can be given to this project, they have a intrinsic value due to their rarity: their hashes, starting with “ECACCA” and “E6E550” (“È cacca” and “È gesso” in HexSpeak), occur 1 time in 16,777,216 (read Art & Hash page).
By starting with a low price, the revaluation could be important.
